On a hot day, I start my car and switch on the A/C unit; the air from the A/C unit is not
cold. Why?
The internal cabin temperature of the car, having parked
under the hot sun, can get very high. When the A/C is turned on, it will take some time for the
cabin air to be cooled down. The process of heat exchange in taking place during this
time cool air in the cabin will be experienced. Alternatively, you may wish to wind down
the windows, during this time to release the hot air from the cabin.

Why and when should the system be flushed?
Whenever a major leakage or parts failure and the A/C System
are opened for service, it is good to flush the system. When parts have failure, debris can be
found in the system, these have to be removed. Flushing the A/C System to clean the system will
ensure these substantial amounts of debris will be removed.
